I spent this morning at Cambridge Guildhall as votes were counted from yesterday’s election. Sadly, I wasn’t successful and the Liberal Democrats held the seat.

However I’m enormously grateful to everyone who voted for me as your Labour candidate, and would like to thank everyone who took time to talk to me or our many canvassers during the campaign – it was a pleasure to meet all of you.
